Job Title/Brief Description: Part-time Bookkeeper - The Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas is accepting applications for a part-time bookkeeper (15-20 hours per week in office). Basic job duties include: maintenance of general ledger in QuickBooks Pro, processing payables and receivables, processing payroll, maintaining inventory records, assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements, preparing quarterly and annual tax filings, and assisting in preparation for the annual financial audit. Minimum qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, previous experience working in an office environment, and a working knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures. Preferred qualifications include experience with QuickBooks Pro, at least some college coursework in accounting, and at least 2 years in a similar position. Reports to and works under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager. Upon successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, the position will be permanent. Organization: Samaritan Counseling Center of West Texas
Job Title/Brief Description: Executive Director.
The Samaritan Counseling Center of West Texas is seeking an Executive Director to lead, direct and oversee the operation of the Center. Samaritan is a non-profit, faith-based counseling center serving a 30-county area in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Executive Director responsibilities include implementing employee and board administration, overseeing public relations and marketing efforts of the Center, assessing the Center’s financial needs and resources and managing fund raising efforts, supervising clinical programs and services, evaluating, interpreting, and analyzing financial records, and implementing long-range planning as directed by the Board of Directors. Strong organization, verbal, and written skills are required as well as the ability to create and maintain team management, delegate and exert leadership, work with volunteers, and articulate integration of faith and therapy. Candidates must also possess knowledge and experience in public relations activities, Four-year degree and experience in the management of a non-profit agency is preferred.
